A good place to start is 
<http://atpm.com/network/internet/index.html> for basic info. 
Basically, you will need to find out if your ISP "knology" will 
provide you with an address for each computer (some do, some will for 
a fee, and some wont)    If they charge a lot, or won't support 
multiples, you will need to buy a "Cable/DSL" router that will allow 
you to connect multiple computers to the Internet.
