I'm new to the list and stone cutting in general. I am interested only
in slate right now as that is the medium I have most access to. My uncle
runs a slate quarry here in Newfoundland Canada and I have basically an
unlimited resource of slate.
I am seriously in love with this stone. I haven't done anything in the
way of carving it with chisels yet but I have been sandblasting it. I
would be very interested in learning more about shaping this wonderful
stone. Books, links, personal web pages, anything you can send
please ...... I'm bursting to know more!
