- a major project running now is the 'Slate valleys
Project' funded by Gwynedd County Council and Cywaith
Cymru Artworks Wales. Artist Meic Watts is working for
18 months in 5 slate communities in Gwynedd. You can
find information on <www.cywaithcymru.org> Meic uses
carving, lettering, sandblasting, etching etc on slate.

which should have info on slate valleys.
