Regarding a test suite or simulation, unfortunately no. We've got one
for the T10 layer as an internal tool which I run as part of my check-
in process. For iSCSI, I've taken the approach of attaching the
target to various OSes and exercising the data path which activate
various areas of the data path.
I would love to have such a tool, but I've not seen one. I have heard
rumors that a few companies are creating verification products. If it
happens, I'll push to have a license for Sun purchased.
