My target works with version 1.0 of the Microsoft Initiator on
Windows XP. So, I kind of doubt they went backwards in their support.
Possible, but highly unlikely.

I'm looking at the response packet following the second 'Inquiry
LUN' command.
(Just before where the Microsoft iScsi initiator pulls the plug).
Ethereal is showing a version value in that packet.
The Netapp target returns a value 0x04 which I think corresponds to
"SCSI Primary Commands - 2" (SPC-2, [ISO/IEC 14776-452],[ANSI
INCITS 351-2001])
Your Sun target returns a value 0x05 which I think corresponds to
"SCSI Primary Commands - 3" (SPC-3,[ISO/IEC 14776-453],[T10/1416-D])
I wonder if the Microsoft supports SPC-3 ?
Thanks
