I'm looking at the response packet following the second 'Inquiry LUN' command.
(Just before where the Microsoft iScsi initiator pulls the plug).
Ethereal is showing a version value in that packet.
The Netapp target returns a value 0x04 which I think corresponds to "SCSI 
Primary Commands - 2" (SPC-2, [ISO/IEC 14776-452],[ANSI INCITS 351-2001])
Your Sun target returns a value 0x05 which I think corresponds to "SCSI Primary 
Commands - 3" (SPC-3,[ISO/IEC 14776-453],[T10/1416-D])
I wonder if the Microsoft supports SPC-3 ?
