The qlc driver attaches by QLogic ISP chip ID, and the correct chip id's for
the QLA246x is there (from Charles' link):
DRVR_ALIASES_sparc="\
pci1077,2200 \
pci1077,2300 \
pci1077,2312 \
pci1077,2422 \
pciex1077,2432 \
pciex1077,5432 \
"
DRVR_ALIASES_i386="\
pci1077,2200 \
pci1077,2300 \
pci1077,2312 \
pci1077,132 \
pci1077,2422 \
pciex1077,2432 \
pciex1077,5432 \
"
The lines with (hopefully) bold font shown above (which *should* be in you
driver_aliases file) will cause the qlc driver to attach to the QLA246x HBA's.
Also: Depending on the type of HBA you have (QLogic branded vs. Sun branded) it
could be that the qla2300 driver is grabbing the QLA2460 before the qlc driver.
Make sure that you don't have a QLA2300 driver on your system, and if you do
have a QLA2300 driver on your system, remove it, and reboot.
