PS.  I can think of another really good reason for wanting to name iqn's - 
disaster recovery.

With ZFS it's a piece of cake to replicate your store to another server, just 
use zfs send and it's all there.

For NFS and CIFS this makes disaster recovery easy because all the settings you 
need are also migrated with the pool.  To switch to the backup server you 
basically have to just rename it, after that you can watch your shares come 
online with exactly the same names and settings as before.

Would be really handy to be able to do this with iSCSI (and iSER) too.
