Frank,
I've attached both the snoop output and the dtrace output.
What's strange is that in the dtrace output, the Target Name is
incomplete and looks to be truncated!
The value from DTrace show this value to be 44 characters in length:
CON1 TargetName = iqn.1986-03.com.sun:02:25515cb7-069d-e4a2-c7
123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789.1234
Whereas the value in the snoop going from target to initiator is 59
characters:
iqn.1986-03.com.sun:02:25515cb7-069d-e4a2-
c701-82ef4809bffb
123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789
There is also a similar instance of truncation with the iSCSI
Initiator (OSX GlobalSAN)
In packet #25, there is the following tag "InitiatorName=iqn.
2005-03.com.sns:mac-manul-pordss-macboo"
iqn.2005-03.com.sns:mac-manul-pordss-macboo
123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789.123456789
Given this two issues, and the following sns forum discussion, I
would have to assume that there is a problem with OSX GlobalSAN.
