No-one in the right lane should feel they have to exceed the speed limit just because some sociopath behind them wants to. On another point, anyone who doubts the adverse environmental impacts of this or any other freeway need only look at the plants in the median of 35E. Most of the original trees and shrubs that've been planted there have either died from the pollution or are barely alive. It seems to be nearly impossible to find plants that can tolerate the high levels of pollution generated. If the plants can't survive, it can't be healthy for people living nearby either.
