No you are right Tom he testified in front of the City Council that he got his money
the old fashion way from his daddy and his rich uncle.

"I don't mind losing money myself, sniff, sniff but I borrowed money for the mortgage
from my uncle, sniff sniff."

I got no problem with this kid making a buck. And, as I said he might have legitimate
fear. But, this was a staged production. Not one person on either side was able to
speak unless they were on the sign up sheet, at Pat Fluery head of the City bar owners
had Kevin on the list to do the tear jerker story. His tear jerker story was the same
as having the two cute little girls testify on the pro-ban side, they didn't muscle
themselves over to the sign up sheet either.

Cute kids vs poor little rich kid who might not be able to pay his uncle back. I
liked the cute kids better.

On the anti-ban side, I did think the VFW guy was great. We all know WWII and Korean
war veterans who ain't going to the bar if they can't smoke a heater. I thought his
testimony was very compelling.

Now I'd say cute kids vs VFW guy toss up. But whining guy who got his money from his
rich uncle and is located right across from the Xcel trying to pull on the heart
strings, no chance.
