And I don't care which party he claims to be in, any politicain who is more concerned for their civil rights to due process than the thoushands of voters they have been screwing out of theirs doesn't deserve to lead anyone.
Caught stacking civilian over sight boards with people who direcly, or closly worked with the company that is to be watched. Doesn't sound very democratic to me.
But now all the local poiticains want to control when and where people smoke because it will take all the heat off their past indescretions about the toxic soup they forced people to breathe (GSE) .
Where are the labor unions beating up on OSHA for workers safety (smoke free workplace)? too busy protecting late term abortions and gay marage?
But protecting people who volunteer, to be in smoke filled envioments, or work in smoke filled envioments is more noble than protecting home owners from being force fed toxic soup, and noise louder than Twin Cities international airport.
The presents of republican, and democratinc parties, is an illiousion. and to qoute a line from the Matrix "it's just another form of control".
Both parties claim they want more people to vote, but has any politicain offered to pay citizens to vote? say 20 bucks for local election, 50 bucks for state election, 100 bucks for federal election No. Just register, and vote even if its for none of the above and collect your money. Why its because then too many people would vote and they don't want that. They want the people who would vote their way to become new voters.
You may think that paying people to vote is bad, but our government does this sort of thing all the time. They want people to drive less they raise the gas tax, they want more ethanol plants they subsidize them. If they really want more people to vote why not pay them for their time? give em a tax credit for doing their duty?
