Somewhat appropriately, "Ug Buys Ugly Houses" is nominated Public Enemy #1
for the week.
Why can't The People try to compete with them? I bet some would have said
that the Dahl House was ugly, and now it's one of the cutest in town. The
private rehabs at Bay & Randolph pale in comparison to the public jobs. So
that kinda turns the Carlton/UofM thing on its head.
The "Got Milk?" people is an udder matter...

An excellent idea. What is the advertiser on the most StPaul billboards?
Publicize it, and let us boycott the biz. As they drop off, find the next
highest, and boycott them. It means a constant stream of updates, pointing
the finger, naming names, until they run for cover.
Meanwhile, we can work on getting rid of them, banning them as I read
Falson Heights has done. This will require sweeping out of city councils
all the puppets of the Chambers of Commerce.
Unregulated capitalism has no morality whatsoever. It is up to citizens to
supply, and enforce, a much higher standard. Eternal vigilance is the
price of beautiful vistas.
