The major dot to be connnected is that the billboard industry does not care
that they top and cut down trees to make sure people have a clear view of their
billboards. They do not care if they devalue property in surrounding
communities. They do not care if their billboards in low profit areas
(everything except freeways) are dilapidated, peeling and in poor repair. They
do not care that they promote unhealthy activities like gambling and alcohol
use in some of the most fragile communities. SO just why should they care that
they are making an irresponsible choice about voting? After all, virtually no
billboard executives/employees live in Minnesota communities which actually
allow billboards.
