I think Snelling is rated as a county highway so I would wonder whether or not it could be restriped by the city. In my view that's where the traffic should go, rather than the side streets or Fairview/Lexington, so I would hate to see them do it.
Having said that, I'm sure having looked at what they did on W. 7th out-bound of Jefferson they could do the same thing out-bound of probably St. Clair on Snelling with comparable results. I'm in favor of spending money on the Ayd Mill connection to keep commuter traffic off of Snelling - of course, I'm also in favor of spending enough to keep it out of that Selby area. Chris Boylan Mac-Groveland & Downtown George W. Bush - like a rock, only dumber. _____________________________________________ To Join: St. Paul Issues Forum Rules Discussion Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _____________________________________________ NEW ADDRESS FOR LIST: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe, modify subscription, or get your password - visit: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/listinfo/stpaul Archive Address: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/private/stpaul/
