I think Snelling is rated as a county highway so I would wonder
whether or not it could be restriped by the city.  In my view
that's where the traffic should go, rather than the side
streets or Fairview/Lexington, so I would hate to see them do it.

Having said that, I'm sure having looked at what they did on
W. 7th out-bound of Jefferson they could do the same thing out-bound
of probably St. Clair on Snelling with comparable results.

I'm in favor of spending money on the Ayd Mill connection to
keep commuter traffic off of Snelling - of course, I'm also in
favor of spending enough to keep it out of that Selby area.
