I'd like to know where one can learn about the engineering of the proposal.
The hydraulics. I mean, couldn't potential downstream flooding be averted
by means of a "relief valve" canal of some sort? Ya canna change the laws
of physics, and ya canna make these kinds of decisions without knowing what
they are.

AM
Another update on a recurring topic in our forum.
According the a quote in the article from Kathy Lantry:
"This is about prioritizing limited city funds," she said. "We have
only so many dollars. If we spend $1 million on Holman Field, that
means we can't spend it anywhere else, like on recreation centers."
Any comments?

BY ROBERT INGRASSIA
"A majority of the St. Paul City Council plans to stand firm today
against contributing $1 million toward the construction of a levee at
the St. Paul Downtown Airport, despite mounting pressure from civic
leaders who support the project."
