Not even. "Safety" is not in the libertarian lexicon, which probably drives our disdain for those who seem obsessed with it. We're the guys who drives you nuts because we don't use seatbelts or motorcycle helmuts either.


I suppose. However those issues only affect my pocketbook. You wanting to be a vegetable the rest of your life (yes I know) is pretty much your concern except for that pocket book and other regulations making me, and others, pay for your vegetablehood. A vicious circle for Libertarians I suppose. Safety I was talking about was protecting me from others, not from myself. Not that I'm against someone protecting me from myself.

There are lot of possible distractions with this issue, whether it be thinking the folks at Bonfire being a reason instead of a catalyst, or someone trying to garner a vote or kill one, or being leftist or rightist. It'd be good to focus.
