There is more discussion about limiting adult businesses in St. Paul. This topic seems to have limited (very little) interest on this list, any thoughts on why that is?

I found this quote from the article in todays Pioneer Press to be quite interesting.

"Nonetheless, St. Paul was a much seamier place in
the 1970s, with 30 or so adult movie theaters,
strip clubs, sexual massage parlors and theaters.

Today, there's only one nude-dancing club and
one bookstore where patrons can watch dirty movies
     in backroom booths."

City hoping to limit erotica shops

"After a few setbacks over the past decade, the city of St. Paul is again plotting a way to curb adult-oriented businesses - including stores that sell lotions and edible underwear but not enough erotic items to currently qualify as bona fide sex shops.
