One of the puzzling things about the Ayd Mill
controversy is why the city administration is so
anxious to build this thing when the State DOT
apparently has no interest in the project. One would
think that connecting two major freeways would be a
concern of the DOT, not the city. Why is this project
a priority for the city but not the DOT?
