To clarify the clarification, there must be some misunderstanding. I do not support the administration's ayd mill road extension. it costs too much and just seems like it will become a freeway defacto.

The two-lane compromise that City Council members Thune and Harris said they would like to see studied further provides for what has been call an INDIRECT connection to I-94 via a newly build road between the north end of Ayd Mill Road and I-94s frontage roads. That is the same kind of connection proposed in Kellys current plan. A DIRECT connection, as was originally proposed in the 1960s, would have extended Ayd Mill Road northwest over Snelling Avenue. Ayd Mill Road would have connected DIRECTLY to I-94 with on- and off-ramps somewhere near Fairview Avenue.
