I have two hds pulled from my G5 when in died about three years ago, they have been stored in a sort of safe manner. I bought a NewerTech adapter, and when attached, the drives spin up, but I can't get them to mount with Disk Utility or Disk Warrior. All terminators are off. Any other thoughts? ?? No terminators on sata. Hopefully they don’t spin up and make continuous chuKA-chuKA noises; that means they’re dead. Do known good sata drives work with the adapter?
