I'd say we can leave the 1.0 UserGuide where it is, and use the one on
the Website/Nightly build as the 1.1 guide. The only trick would be to
specify anything that applies to 1.1 but not to 1.0, using "since"
notations, as you mentioned. This will also help people make the
eventual transition.

Unfortunately, I don't see how we can  do the same with the Javadoc,
because of the things we've moved to the commons. I don't think there's
a way to Javadoc classes once they are gone  ;-(
