By the way this reply to you appears on European standard A4 size paper, not quarto (point-two-five-oh), which folds fractally in half to A5 and again to A6 and so on ad infinitum. I could go on....
It's funny how quickly you forget gallons when having to buy petrol in litres as we do on this side of the herring pond. Though I reckon "fill up" is the same worldwide. As to beer, Imperial pints are bigger than half litres which in turn are bigger than US pints. So it's no contest there. Frank 55N 1W -- Frank Evans
