One of my users sees this as well.

We swapped keyboards, sunrays, mouse and it continues. Just for him.

It only happens when he runs Linux in text-mode in VMWare on the SunRay.

Our theory was that it was a glyph-cache bug (because the glyph-cache
seems dodgy in general) - so we disabled that and we're waiting to see
how that goes.
