The response I got from Oracle in regards to running their software on a
another vendors hardware:

The price for Oracle support on a supported 2 socket non-Oracle hardware
platform is $1000 per year for each server. Solaris Subscription is not
needed for Sun/Oracle hardware because it is included at point of sale
when the customer purchases Premier Support. This can either be Premier
OS support at 8% or Premier Systems support at 12% of the net purchase
price of the Sun/Oracle Hardware.

I tryed to get a RTU License but the same worked there you have to have your
SRSS on sun hardware before they will even sell you a RTU License. and all
my stuff is on Dell hardware.. and all my DTU's are used anyhow why should i
pay them twice for used gear dosn't seem right..

Oracle need to figure it out and get it stright :)
