Hi,
I'm wondering how you got sound to work with gnome on Redhat 5.6. When I
go to the Sound preferences, click on the sounds tab and click on play,
I hear nothing.

Which version of FF are you running? I have an open service request.
I'm told that it's a problem with FF 3.6,4 and 5. FF 3.5 should work
but I havn't tested it yet. The bugdb in question is 12288379 but I
can't find it in mos.
I'm also currently having a problem with the sound keys not working
with gnome. I have to place a service call on that issue. Do your
sound keys work?
Also which version of SRS are you running.
Karl
Hi Karl:
We are using FF 3.6.17. My sound keys do work with GNOME and the Sun
keyboard. This if for SRS 5.2 which is plagued by the redraw issue.
We plan to upgrade to 5.2.1 tomorrow.
