first off i would say that to the dj or the audiophile i think it would be
quite obvious as the draw towards vinyl. most importantly is the expansive
audio spectrum which is cut off and compressed on a cd and what about the
natural spectrum of the human voice which gets lost between all the '1s and
0s'. although the general public has been conditioned in some way thinking
cds are optimal (which in many durability ways it is) but vinyl still
remains the easiest to manipulate on a nice pair of technics 1200mk2! i
myself have just bought my third minidisc recorder (the others have been
retired to friends!) and because i am on the road alot i find it more
appealing to pop all the new vinyl onto a minidisc to study it and listen.
if they made turntable decks for cars i wouldn't hestitate to find a way to
accomadate the room for it. djs do use cd decks...dah!...lol...i myself
only use minidisc and vinyl...its almost comforting to listen to the
crackle here and there on the tracks and if your pushing a crowd the music
is up so loud that known can even tell if there is backgroung noise!
thought i'd pop in a thought...i'm not flaming anyone or anything just
thought it would be a good email to reply to.
