Just got my weekly load of CD's, and amongst various others (inclusing JMJ's
latest) was the new album from Enigma. Now I realise that people tend to be
fairly heavily polarised on this subject, but I quite like them/him. This is
nothing new, but if you liked the previous 3 albums then this is more of the
same, abeilt slightly more up to date sounding. Just as epic as the other
stuff, lots of breathy female vocals, panting, french stuff and some words
of "wisdom" from the man himself. What really caught my ear however was a
guest vocal from Ruth-Ann (of Olive fame) which is really nice. We were
talking voices the last few days, her's is interesting...it takes the right
song for it to shine but track 3 on this album sure does that. Recommended -
unless you have an irrational hatred of their stuff, like most reviewers!

Oh and for the uninitiated - Space Brother's "Shine" is a amazingly superb
trance album....vocal, uplifting, melodic and strangely deep. Fantastic
stuff, easily on a par with BT, Hybrid, WoW et al.

I'm off for a long weekend in sunny (NOT!) holland....when I come back to
earth I'll drop y'all a line again. I hear that something interesting is
afoot in the SS camp, but they won't tell me what. Investigation to
follow...

Anyone in/near a'dam (Joost??) want to meet for a beer or two?? Drop me a
line asap.

Adam.
