Lonnie Gordon... funny story on that one... i was ata bar one evening for
cocktails with friends from the house we all rented one summer. the bar
overlooks a pier where a ferry comes in. so we're just sitting there,
drinking planter's punches, when this FREAKAZOID woman with dyed blonde hair
comes off the boat, singing at the top of her lungs, listening to a walkman,
grabbing her earphones like they were a set of studio headphones, totally
rockin' out to whatever she's listening to, and singing to wake the dead. i
turn to my friend and say "who the fuck does she think SHE is, lonnie
gordon?"

so she looks up, and says "that's me, baby." eep! i scurried off in abject
humiliation... my brush with a star, and i'm a total idiot. of course, the
other time was when i saw lucia before a show at life i think it was, and i
just stood there with my mouth open (literally) staring at her in shock.
she didn't even notice me, she just kept on walking. idiot, again.

"as they move in for the kill..."
