While we are talking about female voices My vote besides Lucia goes to
Betsy Cooke (love is the groove). Also Marlena Shaw, Norma Lewis,
Sharron Redd, Lonnie Gorden, Mary Kaini, Sarah Washington, and Tina
Cousins.
