I'd have to take an exception to that statement. In my own experience, UltimateRez was much faster than TwinTurbo, both subjectively and using benchmarking software. As a matter of fact, in optimal environment it was somewhat faster for 2D than Voodoo3. It was definitely overpriced originally. I mention "in optimal environment" because the situation got a bit complicated with OS 8.6 and higher. Changes in QuickDraw made the card slower with newer OSes and a new driver was produced by IXMicro to address this issue.
