Funny - for a brief period I was having this problem.
(I have the 8 mb Ult Rez non-Apple card.)
I didn't suspect the control panel as the culprit.
The problem went away during one of my several PCI card juggling sessions a while
back but the card ended up back where it was - in the lower slots.
There were many PRAM zappings and card swappings and I have no idea why I don't
have the problem anymore as I was trying to solve other hiccups, not the video
problem.
No settings were changed and the control panel is 2.00.612.
Perhaps the removal and reseating of the card helped ?
