I had a problem recently with an external drive connected to a ATTO fast
SCSI card. I tried everything to retrieve the drive which wouldn't
mount. It turned out that when I changed the drive case-got a
replacement- that the drive mounted and all its data was there. It
wasn't the drive or the cable or the card. Lots of luck.
