Well, folks, here is the latest on the saga of my EZQuest external firewire drive. Opened the case and connected the IDE drive to the S900 via the Tempo card and I was able to acquire the drive through HDST. Thank goodness. I was able to access the Photoshop files I needed and went ahead and reformatted the drive into a single volume. However, the drive is still not accessible via Firewire. Haven't had a chance to test another EZQuest drive on the MachFire card. I had ruled it out because I was not able to access the drive on other computers. I'm hoping it's the Firewire portion of the drive that has gone south instead of it being the MachFire card. If you've heard reports on similar problems I would appreciate it.
