Hi,
I have the Epson 1200 (5 colours and black) but I have never tried
to refill the cartridges as I thought that once they had been removed
they could not be re-installed with any surety of success.
Are you refilling Epson cartridges or cartridges which came with the
refill kit?
For info's sake I always use compatibles from MX2.com which are very
reasonably priced at 12/13 GBP for a set of three - colour or black.
