I too have the Epson problem from time to time. I use the universal
refill and every other refill or every 3rd refill I opt for a new
cartridge. Don't know why, but it seems to help.
I appreciate all the good info on cleaning jets, etc. I'll try them
next time. I have had success running the head cleaning program over
and over, but it wastes a lot of ink.
