Just to be clear. I have every reason to belive that installing and 
booting on a machine with a L2 G3/4 upgrade isn't going to work. It 
must have a 603e like what came with the machines when new or a G3 
Zif upgrade.(which are no longer made and now somewhat hard to find) 
I also have no idea at this time if Ryan is willing or able to spend 
time writing software for the L2 upgrades. Sonnet has let us down in 
this area after nearly promising they were writing the software.I get 
the idea they were close to getting it to work but realized it would 
have to be re-written for every OSX upgrade and would be a support 
nightmare.
