I got a report today quoting Ryan from XPostFacto say he now
has OSX running on the Apple 6400 machine. Using the latest version
of XPostFact. This means that it should also run on the C500/600
machines. This would be either using the 603e CPU (that came with the
machine) or if you are lucky enough to own a somewhat rare G3 Zif
upgrade. I'm going to guess that anything slower then a 200mhz 603e
will be dog slow. I also will guess the the cache doubler may cause
problems or not....?. L2 G3/4 upgrades are out of luck for now.
Software will have to be written that runs in OSX or maybe something
else can be done..
So anyone brave enough to take this on!?? If I had more free
time I would get out my C500 but just not enough hours in the day...
