My second attempt was not successful, either, unfortunately. I tried
every possible combination with installing from my CD-ROM-drive as
well as from my CD-burner. I removed both PCI-cards and plugged the
monitor in the built-in-video. I put the old processor back in.
Finally, I even copied the content of the installation CD-ROM to
another partition of my IDE-drive to install MacOS X from that to the
SCSI-drive I had set aside for this purpose (properly terminated and
formatted with the Apple disk tool) - to no avail. The screen remains
black, the drives do not speed up, the keyboard does not work.
So, in the end, I am afraid that XPostFacto still does not work with
our c500/c600 (Apus 2000/3000) machines.
Or is there a point I have missed in the end?

Still hoping,

Nils
