Nancy- It's been fine for a while now without the SCSI drive. If I need to boot from something else I can use one of the cd drives (SCSI). I am glad to be rid of that Seagate 2G drive. It seems to me there might be issues with that Sonnett ATA 100 card corrupting your files, perhaps the same way it causes audio to stutter. Perhaps it is overloading the bus ? If there were a control panel to adjust throughput...
