I have an S900, I would assume that the C600 is similar. Sometimes (say 4 out of 10 times) if I have headphones plugged into the front jack on the machine, the sound will not come back when I unplug them. Other times I will get sound from only one speaker (I always have an external set of speakers attached) To fix this, I simply plug the headphones back in wait a few seconds and then unplug them again. Every now and then (rarely) I will need to do this 2 or 3 times. Maybe it's the same with your machine?

Likewise, many monitors have earphone jacks. -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
