Good tip, I will keep it in mind. I notice the following behavior: With scsi line up as: Main boot drive, OS9.1 = ID# 0 Back up drive, OS 9.1 = ID#2 CD Drive = ID# 3 With selected boot drive=0, and no CD inserted, <CMD><OPT><SHFT><DEL> causes drive ID#2 to boot ( the next in line). With the selected boot drive=0, and a bootable CD inserted, <CMD><OPT><SHFT><DEL> causes drive ID#3 ( CD ROM) to boot. This is with restart or cold boot. Actually with a bootable CD inserted, the addition of <NUM> =2 has no effect. It boots from the CD when <CMD><OPT><SHFT><DEL>< ANY NUM> is demanded. The TTP3 CD is a special case. When the selected boot drive=0 and <CMD><OPT><SHFT><DEL><2> is demanded the machine boots from Drive ID#3, but into OS7.6.1 instead of OS9.1. TTP3 has special coding for the 1,2,3 and 4 keys on startup. Thanks to everyone for contributing to this minor puzzle. I will add another scsi boot drive up the chain from ID#3 and play with it.
