Ok, as long as we're going OT.... One of my most useful tools in such a situation is a Bic pen cap (or similar). It works great for holding down OPTION-COMMAND when rebuilding the desktop (cram it down between the keys, skinny end first) and holding the shift key for restarting with extensions off. I discovered this one July 4th weekend when we had to upgrade the main order tracking software on 100+ workstations at PowerComputing - shortly before Steve Jobs killed 'em off. I could hit a group of 6 cubes, first with a restart with extensions off, then install, then restart again and rebuild desktop. Probably cut my time by 1/3. I'm sure you could adapt it for your "quintuple bucky". Keep it in your toolbox beside your straightened paperclips. -- Bill Christensen [EMAIL PROTECTED] Green Building Professionals Directory: http://directory.greenbuilder.com Sustainable Building Calendar: http://www.greenbuilder.com/calendar/ Green Real Estate: http://www.greenbuilder.com/realestate/ -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
