lol,
hot!!! i could fry an egg on it, it comes with a metal heatsink, no fan, im
in the electronics business ( manufacture) and i can see this aint a good
way to go, but i don't want to break the heatsink off incase i bugger it up.

I have the latest ati software as of checking last week.

the XLR8 is configured by dipswitches ad linkers, i just took it up to 52MHZ
buss speed but then the ATI started to smell.

i'm currently trying to get my firewire working.
its a macally board with a ti chipset, it just will not mount the attached
diskdrive on my s900, but if i put it( firewire board) in a g3 it works
fine.

macally basically told me to get stuffed when i asked for support.

the interesting thing though is that with apples firewire SDK i can read the
roms on attached devices , but they just don't show up.

if someone could help me with this, then i can sit down with the ati and see
"how far can we go"
