I'm considering getting the Radeon 7000 for my S900 to watch some mpg movies on my 34 inch TV. Does anybody have any experience with this? What kind of picture can I expect- will it be grainy? Will it be full screen?
gas2 I have a radeon 7000 in my s900. i find some issues. ( pls note i suspect this is the outdated hardware in the s900 not the card) 1. it can be a pig to get it installed and setup without a video card already in another slot. 2. if the monitor is off on boot up of the mac , then the screen remains blank, ( you have to have the screen on when you boot) 2. A i had to put spaces at the front of some of its extensions to make it boot to the correct resolution faster................. when you say full screen, what res is that? <snip> I think the max resolution on a TV is 1024/768.
