Finally figured it out.
I highlighted the graph and tried to Save As but it kept saving the entire
file again.
Clicking on the CD icon on the right gave me a clue and it turns out Toast
has to be running also. Highlight the portion of the file, click on the CD
icon and the selection is sent to Toast as a track that is ready to burn
onto CD.
This definitely is far more convenient then I first thought.
