The humming sound may be a medical condition. Especially if no one else hears it. Ringing in the ears is a common thing, more so in people with Attention Defficet Disorder. It has to do with the size and shape of the ear cannal, which is hereditary. I belive it is called Tintinitus(sp)? Are you the only person who hears the sound from your computer when it is turned off? Paul
