I don't think it's that critical.  Unless you're going to load the 
thing up like crazy, any ATX supply of reasonable quality with a 
capacity equal to or greater than the original (250W) should be fine.

It's a 400W.  :-)  It's doing fine.  I built a second ATX to Umax 
adapter to use on my test bench and it didn't work.  It turns out I 
reversed the ATX connector on the second adapter I built.  So after 
writing all that and typing in the correct wiring diagrams, it's 
still possible to get confused when you're building the thing.  :-)
