Dear Jeff After looking at Power On Solution ATX to UMAX GPX adapter I
thought what is the point in getting a fancy AT or Better when and ATX
only PS would do the trick.

So I picked one up for what would be US $20.

Just to note for any body else out there. The label says:

Auriga Power
MODEL: 9806B - 300W ATX
LOW NOISE TEMEPERATURE CONTROLLER

INPUT 115V 6A 60 HZ/230V 3A 50HZ

N1463

CE

OUTPUT 300W MAX

RED: +5V 30A
YELLOW: +12V 10A
WHITE: -5V 0.5A
BLUE: -12V 0.8V
PURPLE: +3.3V 14A
BROWN: .5 VSB 2A
ORANGE: P.G. (what does P.G. mean?)
BLACK: GROUND
GRAY: PS-ON REV:2.03 (what does PS-ON REV 2.03?)

(+5V & +3.3V TOTAL OUTPUT 160W) (does that vary from the SEASONIC?)

OK, that's all it says.

All the cables seem much narrower than the original cables. The Molex
is there. And a six cable smaller six pin flat plug white in color.

As a temporary solution I bought from an Auto spares shop, a
connector/terminator strip with the little screw type wire sockets to
connect both sets of wires and test the motherboard out before I start
getting any fancy ideas.

At least the wires when matched will be seen to be working before I
get more permanent ideas.

So now all I have to do is transpose the wires properly.

Regards Paul Shand/PS
