You may wish to hunt around for an ATX which does fit.  The Seasonic 
is an ATX profile, but there's some variation amongst ATX power 
supplies.   You can probably find an ATX which will fit nicely, 
without resorting to the hacksaw.

Nah.  All the grounds are connected together on the motherboard.  If 
you take an ohmmeter to the various GND connections, you'll find that 
there's 0 ohms between them.   Electrically speaking, they're all the 
same connector.
